We’re honoured to announce BrightHR’s partnership with the North West Air Ambulance Charity (NWAA), a vital lifeline to those in need of lifesaving emergency medical services in the North West.
“The North West Air Ambulance Charity are a fantastic organisation that make a positive difference to thousands of lives every year. We’re delighted to be partnering with them” says BrightHR CEO, Alan Price.
Who are North West Air Ambulance?
North West Air Ambulance is an essential organisation that delivers specialist and enhanced pre-hospital care to some of the most critically ill and injured, transporting patients in life-threatening conditions to hospitals where they get essential medical care.
North West Air Ambulance has been operating for 25 years and is funded entirely by charitable donations, receiving no funding from the UK Government or NHS. Despite these challenges, they save over 3,000 lives each year.
Why did BrightHR choose to partner with the North West Air Ambulance Charity? At BrightHR, we are deeply committed to our community and are proud to fully support the commendable and selfless mission undertaken by the NWAA team; working tirelessly each day to deliver life-saving care.
We feel the North West Air Ambulance Charity deeply aligns with our own ethos, and we at BrightHR are inspired after hearing the stories of genuine heroism from their crew. This inspiration has spurred us on, and we’ve already raised thousands in the short time we’ve been partnered.
How do BrightHR plan to support the NWAA?
We’ve already had a number of our employees participating in fundraising events like the London Marathon and NWAA’s flagship event, “Race Against Time”, which took place earlier in May. We’d like to offer our congratulations to the two Peninsula Group colleagues, Muhammad and Maria, who raised £247 and came first in the race!
Many in our team have also signed up for Payroll Giving, which allows people to give money to charity minus the tax, helping more people access charitable giving than before.
We’ll be running a calendar of our own fundraising events too and making corporate donations to raise crucial funds for the organisation. BrightHR will also be match-funding each pound raised by our people, underpinning our commitment to give back to the community and doing the right thing by giving our time and financial support.
We’re also excited to announce we’ll be joining the Corporate Crew, meaning alongside fundraising efforts, we’ll be gaining an important insight into how the charity operates, while building connections with other businesses in the North West.
Chris Andrews, Corporate Partnership Officer at the NWAA, says “We are delighted to welcome BrightHR onboard as our partner. As we rely solely on donations from the public, partnerships like these enable us to keep doing what we do and saving lives, so we’d like to thank BrightHR wholeheartedly for choosing us.”
Through our efforts, BrightHR hopes to help ensure that the NWAA can continue to be a lifeline in the skies for countless people across the region.
